Session of Association of National Parks Board will be held at "Shulgan-Tash" reserve in autumn

UFA, 7 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. The natural park "Voskresenskoe Povetluzhe" in Nizhny Novgorod region hosted a regular meeting of the Association of National Parks and Reserves of the Volga Federal District. It brought together 18 delegations of Protected Areas (PAs) of Russia. The event was attended by a delegation from the Association of Reserves and National Parks from the Northwest region. Bashkortostan was represented at the meeting by the employees of the Bashkir State Reserve.

As reported by the Director of the Bashkir State Reserve Vasilya Yanybaeva, the meeting held at the newly opened museum and tourist complex "City of Kitezh" in Vladimirdkoe village was devoted to discussion of joint projects on promoting the projects of the Association. Achievements of national parks and nature reserves in the area of tourism, positive experience of interaction with the executive authorities and private business in this direction were also discussed.

Vasilya Yanybaeva at the plenary session told about the features of event tourism of Bashkir State Reserve, focused mainly on ethnographic, cultural and historical facts. The next session of the Board of the Association of National Parks and Nature Reserves of the Volga Federal District will be held at "Shulgan-Tash" reserve in the second half of September 2015.
