Solo exhibition of sculptures by Senator Raphael Zinurov opened at the Federation Council

UFA, 2 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulchachak Khannanova/. A solo exhibition of sculptures by Senator from Bashkortostan, member of the Federation Council Committee for Foreign Affairs, the Head of "Bashkortostan Community" in Moscow, Doctor of Law, member of the Union of Artists, Writers and Journalists of Russia, sculptor Raphael Zinurov opened in the lobby of the Federation Council. The exhibition titled "Personality in the History of Countries of the World" is dedicated to the upcoming SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa and consists mostly of busts of famous national heroes of these countries. The opening of the exhibition was visited by many senators, as well as the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, who invited all members of the Russian parliament to visit the exhibition and expressed satisfaction that in the ranks of the Russian senators there were people having talents not only to politics.

The exhibition includes 33 pieces made in different years. According to the author Raphael Zinurov the collection brought together sculptures created over the past 30 years.

The exhibition at the Federation Council will run for a week, and then on the eve of the SCO and the BRICS Summits it is planned to show it in Ufa.
