Bashkortostan Paralympic representatives were awarded in Moscow

UFA, 2 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Karina Sabirova/. The House of Paralympic Sports in Moscow hosted a regular meeting of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) chaired by Vladimir Lukin. During the meeting the outstanding achievements of Bashkir athletes were marked.

Gennady Dementyev, Director of the Regional Public Foundation "Sport and Rehabilitation Centre for Visually Impaired "Luch" of Bashkortostan" was awarded a medal and certificate of the President of the Russian Federation for his significant contribution to organization of the 22th Olympic Winter Games and 11th Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.

The founder of the Regional Public Foundation "Youth of the Nation", 13-fold Paralympic champion, vice president of the Russian Paralympic Committee Rima Batalova was chosen as an executive officer of the RPC responsible for carrying out work on ethics and social protection of athletes, observance of rights and interests of the athletes within the Paralympic Movement , support of veterans of Paralympic sport and youth sport of children with disabilities through the organization of the Athletes' Commission.
