Ufa Airport confirmed compliance with ISAGO international standards

UFA, 31 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. Ufa Airport passed recertification procedure under the ISAGO program (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations). The audit results confirmed the compliance of ground handling procedures with international safety standards.

In 2013, Ufa air hub was the first regional airport, which passed ISAGO registration. During the re-audit the company received a comprehensive assessment of the main parameters of the standard: the system of organization and management, ground movement of aircraft, passenger service, baggage handling.

Last year the historical outcome was recorded – largely due to the introduction of ISAGO procedures there were no accidents caused by personnel in Ufa airport.

Obtaining of the ISAGO certificate enhances competitiveness of our aviation hub. Its availability indicates that the ground handling services are provided in accordance with international standards and hazards and damage to aircrafts are minimized.
