Alpine skiing children competitions were held in Beloretsk
UFA, 27 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Alpine skiing children competitions “Vesnushki” were held in the ski centre "Mratkino" in Beloretsk. They were organized by the Federation and Central Club of Skiing and Snowboarding in Bashkortostan.
Despite the fact that these competitions were held for the first time, they gathered about 150 young athletes from Beloretsk, Ufa, Sterlitamak, Octyabrsky, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Togliatti, Kusa. Skiers competed in the disciplines "Slalom" and "Giant Slalom" in four age groups (born 2003 and younger).
By the results of two races Beloretsk natives Egor Borisov, Tatiana Belozyorova, Sergei Kolesnikov, Stepan Domnin, Polina Chernova and Ufa natives Elizabeth Vorobieva, Anton Grigorenko, Ksenia Podlipchyuk became the best in slalom.
Artemy Lyakin from St. Petersburg, Eva Yahanova, Ksenia Podlipchyuk and Ivan Shadrin from Ufa, Catherine Prudnikova and Nicholay Naidenov from Moscow, Stepan Domnin and Nicole Kartashova from Beloretsk won in the giant slalom.
The organizers expressed their confidence that every year "Vesnushki " would attract more participants, and Mratkino would gather young skiers from all over the country, the information-analytical department of the Beloretsk administration informs.
