Bashkiria rendered 217 million rubles of assistance to Belogorsk region of Crimea in 2014

UFA, 13 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In 2014, Bashkortostan rendered assistance amounting to 217 million rubles to Belogorsk region of Crimea - in the form of equipment, maintenance works, food. The head of the Belogorsk regional administration Alexander Vanashov told about it on the air of local radio station.
The Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services RB Ildus Mamaev informed that three batches of humanitarian aid had been delivered to Belogorsk. They included products for educational institutions, health care, culture, social protection, as well as a Gazelle school bus, ambulances, medical computer equipment, medicines, audio-visual equipment, books, sports uniforms, musical instruments. Five stallions of Bashkir breed were transferred for a horse farm.
“The second area of support was preparation of utilities and communal services for the heating season”, Ildus Mamaev said. “It was repaired 37 objects, 15 residential houses, six schools, three block boilers. Unfortunately, the gasification issue of the region still remains unsolved. Belogorsk region is the only region in Crimea without gas.”
Since April 2014, in accordance with the decree of the Government of Russia Bashkortostan became an overseer of Belogorsk region of Crimea.
According to Alexander Vanashov, there is an idea to establish twin-city relations with one of the cities of Bashkortostan. At present, the materials are sent to the republic for consideration.
