Ufa will host a regional stage of the international competition Enactus - "Students in Free Entrepreneurship"

UFA, 6 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. On April 7, a regional stage of the international competition Enactus - "Students in Free Entrepreneurship" will be held in Ufa. Students of universities and colleges traditionally will defend their projects at Ufa Trade and Economic College (54, Kirova Street).

The contest is held annually for 15 years and is aimed at promoting the idea of entrepreneurship among students in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Enactus –is the largest international non-profit organization, a community of students, business leaders and universities. Enactus teams develop and implement their own projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people. The results of completed projects are valued at the annual competitions: regional, national and global. In Russia Enactus program was launched in 1998, this year it is attended by 130 teams representing 60 cities.

Last year over 62 thousand students from more than 1,600 universities and 36 countries took part in Enactus. The team from Sibay Institute of Bashkir State University won the national competition in 2014 and represented Russia at the World Cup in Beijing.
