Salavat Yulaev is on the verge of leaving the seventh season of Gagarin Cup
UFA, 5 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. Yesterday the fourth eastern quarterfinal match of Gagarin Cup 2015 between HC Salavat Yulaev and HC Metallurg (Magnitogorsk) finished in Ufa.
Ufa successfully started it having scored two goals for seven minutes - Teemu Hartikainen and Denis Khlystov hit the gate of Basil Koshechkin. Sergey Mozyakin reduced a backlog - 1:2. But Ivan Vishnevsky returned a gap of two goals - 1:3. But Mozyakin again was accurate - 2: 3.
The Bashkir club failed the second period. Vitaly Kamenev, Danis Zaripov and Tim Stapleton brought the result to 5:3 in favour of Magnitogorsk.
In the third period, Vishnevsky gave a hope for our team - 4: 5, but the decisive goal was scored by the same Mozyakin who scored a hat-trick - 4:6.
The score in the series became 3: 1 in favour of Magnitogorsk club and it is a footstep away from reaching the semifinals of the Conference. The fifth match will be held in Magnitogorsk on March 6.
