Ufa will host the SCO Youth Council

UFA, 20 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The 8th meeting of the SCO Youth Council as part of Russia’s presidency in the organization will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan. In July, Ufa will host representatives of China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. It is reported by the press service of the ANO "Office Group SCO BRICS Ufa-2015".

The initiative to create the SCO Youth Council belongs to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. This idea was announced by the Russian leader at the SCO Summit in Shanghai in June 2006. The founders of the council became national youth organizations of the SCO: Youth Congress of Kazakhstan, Youth Wing "Jas Otan" of the People's Democratic Party "Nur Otan", the All-China Youth Federation, the Youth Community Council of Kyrgyzstan, Russian public organization "Russian Union of Youth", the Youth Public Chamber of Russia, the Youth Union of Tajikistan.

"We are pleased that once again Ufa will welcome guests from friendly countries," the chairman of the Youth Committee of the city administration, the member of the federal organizing committee of the SCO Youth Council Ural Kilsenbaev said.
