Rustem Khamitov: "Sources to finance HC Salavat Yulaev are found"

Funding of the hockey club "Salavat Yulaev" will not stop due to the suspension of sponsorship projects of the "Ural" Charity Foundation. It will continue to be financed at the expense of extra-budgetary sources. This was reported today by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov following the meeting devoted to development of children's sports.

According to Rustem Khamitov, there are some agreements with large companies that are willing to sponsor the HC Salavat Yulaev.

“The fact is that actually arrest on the "Ural" Foundation’s assets was imposed last autumn already. By agreement with investigative authorities, financing of the hockey club continues in full. To date there are no any prohibitions. If it was the goodwill of the "Ural" Foundation, they could continue financing the club until 30 April 2015, when the sponsorship agreement terminates. Nobody prevents this funding thus carried out,” he said.

Other projects, also supervised by the "Ural" Charity Foundation, will also get support of the regional authorities.

The Head of Bashkortostan also appealed to the players of the club calling them to stop worry, reach the playoffs and play very well for the honour of the republic.
