Swimming Championship of Bashkortostan among athletes with disabilities will be held in Salavat

UFA, 17 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. From February 19 to 21, in the city of Salavat the Swimming Championship of Bashkortostan among athletes with disabilities will take place in the "Almaz" swimming pool.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB, it is expected participation of more than 100 athletes from Bashkortostan, Perm, Chelyabinsk region, Udmurtia, Kazakhstan. The leaders of the competition are Bashkir athletes, champions of the Paralympic Games - Oksana Savchenko, Michael Zimin and Alexander Nevolin-Svetov as well as world champion in swimming among visually impaired Anna Krivshina.

The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB, training centre of higher sportsmanship, Swimming Federation of Bashkortostan and the administration of Salavat.

The winners will be awarded with medals and diplomas.

The competitions will start daily at 11.00.
