Students from Bashkiria will compete for victory in the second qualifying round of the International Olympiad "IT-Planet"

UFA, 13 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. 22 of 323 university students from Bashkortostan were qualified for the second round of the International Olympiad in Information Technology "IT-Planet 2014/15". They will compete for the finals.

In the first qualifying round, which was held on website of the Olympiad, 12418 online tests of 10 contests in nominations "Programming", "Databases", "Telecom" and "Free Software" were taken. Participants represented 11 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine.

The second round of the Olympiad will be held in March in the format of a remote solution of practical tasks set by employers. 1 449 students and graduates from different countries are invited to participate in this stage.
