State Duma deputy Pavel Kachkaev met with students of the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies

UFA, 12 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. The State Duma deputy from Bashkortostan Pavel Kachkaev participated in the seminar of Advanced Consumer School, which took place in the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies. Parliamentarian acquainted students with features of housing and communal services, with innovations in the legislation and development of housing projects by "United Russia" party.
“Today about 3.5 million workers are employed in the housing sector who serve 2.3 billion sq m of housing in apartment buildings and more than three billion private households in the country”, Pavel Kachkaev said. “Every month 49 million of bills for utility services are printed out for homeowners. In addition, 40 percent of the country's housing needs major repairs to be made on time, otherwise it will be uninhabitable.”
Students of the Institute were particularly interested in legislative initiatives in housing and communal services sector.
The deputy informed the students that in 2016 the Federal Law "On GIS utilities" will come into force which envisages the creation of a single database, which includes all information on the property, the cost of services, rates, tariffs. Thus, each owner will has his own online private office, where he will be able to know what costs are accrued for his utilities, to vote at the general meeting of property owners.
The meeting was ended with questions from students to the parliamentarian and the online game on energy saving.
