90-year-old resident of Beloretsk was greeted by Vladimir Putin on her jubilee

UFA, 10 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Today the resident of Beloretsk, labour veteran, home front worker Olga Sokolova received congratulations on her 90th jubilee. A greeting card from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin was handed over Olga Sokolova by the chairman of the City Council Eugene Karepanov and the head of Beloretsk district administration Vladislav Mironov.

“Our generation is immensely proud of heroes and victors generation. You are the ones who with honour went through the ordeal of war and the country's revival from the ashes. You are the ones who exemplify high professionalism, true patriotism. We wish you meeting your centenary jubilee in a good health and as today with congratulations from the President of the country”, Vladislav Mironov said, congratulating the hero of the day.

As reported in the administration of Beloretsk district, handing over greeting cards from the President of Russia to all veterans of war and home front, marking 90, 95 and 100-year anniversary, has become a good tradition. Last year, 133 veterans - long-livers of Beloretsk district and the city of Beloretsk received personal greetings. In his congratulatory message the President of the country wished Olga Sokolova good health, happiness, long life surrounded by her loved ones.
