The tallest Ferris Wheel in the Volga Federal District will be opened in Ufa

UFA, 9 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. On February 21, in Ufa, a new Ferris Wheel "Iremel" will be launched. It is located next to the shopping mall of the same name. The height of the new Ferris Wheel is 60 m, which corresponds to the height of 30-storey building. This is the highest indoor amusement ride in the Volga Federal District, according to the website of the ride.

The Ferris Wheel contains 24 cabins. They are closed from the weather, heated in winter and cooled in summer, with soft seating and lighting inside. Adult ticket is 150 rubles, children ticket is 100 rubles.

The musician Robert Yuldashev with ethno-group "Kuraysy" will perform at the opening of the Ferris Wheel. Animators and life-size puppets will work for children. The program also includes drawing of lottery for ride tickets and prizes from sponsors.

On February 22, the festivities and celebration of Shrovetide will be held near the new amusement. Here people will be able to drink tea with pancakes, listen to the singer Catherine Yamshikova and watch performances of «Guzal-Dance» group. At the end of the celebration the traditional burning of effigies of Shrovetide is planned.

In September last year in the Central Park of Culture and Rest named after M. Gafuri also a new Ferris Wheel was installed with the height of 48 m.
