Young scientists from Bashkiria are awarded grants of the President RF for unique developments

UFA, 6 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Four Candidates of Sciences from Bashkortostan universities received grants of the President of the Russian Federation. The competition was held for state support of young Russian scientists’ research - Candidates and Doctors of Sciences.

Anvar Valeev, the Associate Professor, Department of Oil and Gas Transport and Storage of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University became the winner of 2015 for creating a unique polyurethane vibration isolator of new generation, which reduces the level of vibration in tens or hundreds of times.

Also in the field of technical and engineering sciences the work of the Candidate of Technical Sciences Alexander Kishalov from Ufa State Aviation Technical University was awarded. His development relates to design automation of advanced aircraft jet engines.

Andrey Vorobyov, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Electronics Department at the same university became a grant holder in the nomination "Information Systems and Technology". His study is focused on geographic information system based on geo-browsers technology. In the field of mathematics and mechanics Aygul Manapova, Associate Professor, Department of Applied Informatics and Numerical Methods of Bashkir State University was awarded.

The grants of the President of the Russian Federation are allocated on a two-year period to finance the costs of basic and applied research. The grant of a young scientist - Candidate of Sciences is 600 thousand rubles a year, Doctor of Sciences - 1 million rubles.
