"Selfie with a Veteran" campaign started in Ufa

UFA, 6 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. In Ufa the "Selfie with a Veteran" campaign is launched. It is carried out as part of the federal patriotic project "Memory and Pride in the Hearts of Generations" with support of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan and the Youth Public Chamber of the Republic.

Before June 1, everyone will be able to publish their selfies with veterans and post them on social networks - Instagram, Facebook and "VKontakte". Photos should be placed with the hashtag # moiveteran and data about a participant of the Great Patriotic War or home front worker - his first and last name, age, name of the settlement where the picture is taken. In addition, the publication should be accompanied with interesting stories from life of a veteran, his wishes to young people.

Organizers are sure that through such projects patriotic stories of the war years will be remembered for many generations.
