The tallest baby in Bashkortostan was born in September 2014

UFA, 4 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The tallest baby in Bashkortostan (68 cm) was born in September last year. The sturdy child with height of 59 cm and weight of 5.6 kg was born in August. Regional office of the Social Insurance Fund counted the number of children born in the republic last year. Total almost 58 thousand babies drew the first breath in 2014.

According to the Fund, the most popular in Bashkortostan age for becoming a mother is 27 years. At this age residents of the republic became mothers of more than 4.8 thousand kids last year. The number of boys was greater than the number of girls.

More than 608 million rubles were directed to provide the program "Birth Certificate" by the Social Insurance Fund in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2014.
