Ufa Planetarium presents the full-dome film "Dark Matter in the Universe"

UFA, 3 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The public lecture entitled "Dark Matter in the Universe" with a demonstration of the full-dome film with the same name will be held in the star hall of the Ufa planetarium. The event will take place on the eve of the Day of Russian Science, February 5 at 14.00. The Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ramil Ismagilov will make a report to the viewers, the official website of the planetarium informs.

The official holiday of the Day of Russian Science was established by the Decree of the President of Russia in 1999. Thus great achievements of Russian scientists in the history of the state, their contribution to the world scientific thought are marked. The date of February 8 was chosen not by accident. It was February 8, 1724 when Peter the Great signed a decree on the foundation of the Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The Day of Russian Science is widely celebrated in almost all research teams. On this day, workshops, conferences and public lectures are usually held.
