Salavat Yulaev will try to overcome HC Severstal from Cherepovets

UFA, 30 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. On Friday, January 30, HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) hosts the next opponent in the championship of the Kontinental Hockey League - HC Severstal from Cherepovets.

In the previous game Ufa team was defeated by Torpedo (Nizhny Novgorod), for the first time at the "Ufa-Arena" with such a big score - 0: 6.

Cherepovets club in a bitter struggle lost to Barys in Astana in the overtime - 2: 3.

Severstal takes the 13th place in the Western Conference, with 63 points in 50 games, and they will strongly fight for the playoff zone.

Ufa players are competing for the best positions in the East. At the moment, they take 5-6th places that they share with Barys (Kazakhstan) (77 and 74 points after 51 games and 50, respectively). In addition, Tractor (Chelyabinsk) catches up with the both clubs - 49 games and 70 points.
