Nearly 700 school buses will be equipped with GLONASS in Bashkortostan

UFA, 29 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In Bashkortostan 695 school buses will be equipped with GLONASS navigation system. According to the press service of the State Committee for Transport and Roads RB, a state contract to equip vehicles used for carriage of schoolchildren with navigation and communication equipment was signed between the Republican State Transport Committee and LLC "Navigation Intelligent Systems". The total value of the contract amounted to 8.2 million rubles.

All equipment will be transferred to the gratuitous use of the institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Education RB. Navigational and communications equipment will track and navigate school buses in the republic.

Currently 1454 school bus are in operation in Bashkortostan.
