The single Russian - the representative of Bashkir sports Ernest Yakhin became the 46th out of 48 finishers in the Gundersen race. The day before he was the 36th in jumping competitions.

The German Eric Frenzel won the race. The second and third places were taken by the Austrian Bernhard Gruber and German Tino Edelmann.
