Bashkiria is the second in Russia on subsidies received for vocational education modernization

UFA, 19 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkortostan takes the second place in the Russian Federation on amount of federal subsidies to support vocational education modernization.

“In 2013, the Ministry of Education participated in the competitive selection of federal regional development programs of vocational education. According to their results our region was among the winners and received 43.5 million rubles from the federal budget last year”, the press-secretary of department Lina Sarbaeva said.

The allocated funds were aimed at bringing educational and professional equipment of educational institutions in accordance with the requirements of modern high-tech production facilities.

In 2015, the size of federal subsidies increased. As Bashinform News Agency earlier reported in the coming year Bashkortostan would receive 45 million 254.1 thousand rubles to develop and implement programs on modernization of the regional vocational education system.
