Bashkir schoolchildren flew to Moscow at the Kremlin New-Year Children’s Party

UFA, 25 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Today, on December 25, 114 young inhabitants of Bashkortostan flew to Moscow at the Kremlin New-Year Children’s Party. A trip to the country's main New Year's performance is the award for excellent pupils and winners of sports competitions. In addition, the delegation included children from socially disadvantaged families, orphans and those whose fathers were killed in the line of duty. The trip is fully funded from the republican budget.

On December 26, at the State Kremlin Palace pupils will become members of a large New Year pageant. The Presidential New-Year Children’s Party will bring together about seven thousand children from all over Russia. They will have fun rides, contests, games and theatrical performances. At the end of the New Year celebrations, all children will receive sweet gifts.

Children on a trip are accompanied by pediatricians, Interior Ministry officials, teachers.

The pupils will return home on December 27, according to the Ministry of Education RB.
