Score by Salavat Yulaev player Kutuzov helped the Russian team to win Channel One Cup 2014

UFA, 22 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Sochi the Channel One Cup - the second stage of the Euro Hockey Tour comes to an end.

In its final match the Russians - early winners of the tournament - also pleased the audience having outplayed the Czechs. Alexander Kutuzov and Andrey Zubarev, two defenders of HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) also played as part the national team at this Cup.

Kutuzov opened the scoring at the end of the first period, having made a throw from the blue line - 1: 0.

Then Igor Grigorenko and Yegor Yakovlev brought the score to 3: 0. Then the home team allowed the Czechs to reduce the gap to a minimum, but not more than 3:2 and won the first place with 100 percent result - three wins.
