More than two thousand people joined the pensions co-financing program in Bashkortostan in the past month

UFA, 22 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. More than two thousand inhabitants of Bashkortostan joined the pensions co-financing program for the last month. Due to the amendments to the federal law the opportunity to join the program is extended until December 31, 2014. The first payment for its "activation" can be made till January 31 2015.

Thus, the state will provide co-financing of voluntary contributions for future pension for 10 years for everyone who entered the program in the period from October 1, 2008 to December 31, 2014 and made the first payment until 31 January 2015 inclusive, providing that the payment of contributions will be made in the amount of not less than 2000 rubles a year.

The law allows program participants to suspend the payment of contributions or to renew it.

Under the new law, the state will co-finance contributions only of those citizens who have not yet retired. This amendment applies only to new participants of the program and does not apply to pensioners who have joined it.

Today, more than 409,000 people became participants of the program in Bashkortostan. They contributed more than 1.3 billion rubles on account of their future pension, of which - 465 million rubles during the last year.
