About 800 excellent pupils from all over the republic gathered at the presidential New-Year Party in Bashkiria

On December 22, in Ufa, the "Bashkortostan" Concert Hall hosted the main children's New Year Party – Presidential Party, where excellent pupils and school life activists from across the republic are traditionally invited on behalf of the President RB.

About 800 children, representatives of each city and region gathered at the New-Year Party in the capital. All of them distinguished themselves in academic achievements, sporting events, dance and vocal competitions, contests and festivals. Also the children patronized by the "Markhamat" charitable educational foundation, children of military men and internal affairs officers killed in the line of duty, children from large poor families were also invited at the event.

As noted by the chief specialist of the Ministry of Education of Bashkortostan Ramziya Bikkuzhina, the number of participants in the annual festive event remained the same - 780 children.

At the party the children were welcomed by the Grand Farther Frost and the Snow Maiden. In the foyer of the Concert Hall they were entertained by fairy-tale characters. The children in carnival and festive costumes danced around the New-Year Tree, recited poems, sang songs.

On behalf of the President of Bashkortostan the pupils were congratulated on the coming New Year by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov.

The main New Year's children's festival continued with the musical fairy tale pageant, with bright decorations and colourful costumes. In memory of the Presidential New-Year party, the children were presented fluffy toys, the book by Mustai Karim and sweets.

On December 23, the city and social New-Year children’s parties will be held at the "Bashkortostan" Concert Hall.
