Rustem Khamitov: "The SCO and BRICS Summits will be held at a high level in Bashkortostan Republic"

On December 18, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting of the Republican Organizing Committee for the preparation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and the Summit of Heads of States and Governments of BRICS in Ufa in 2015. The discussion focused on issues of transport support of upcoming events, organization of a business program, as well as the progress of hotel complexes construction for accommodating delegations.

The head of the region reported that he took part in the meeting of the Federal Organizing Committee for the Summits on Tuesday.

“Our preparation activity was highly estimated. It was confirmed that all works were on schedule in terms of infrastructure readiness, in terms of new objects construction, programs of the upcoming events, the content of these Summits”, Rustem Khamitov said.

The President of Bashkortostan informed that as part of Russia's presidency in the SCO our country hosted several dozen events, four of which were held in Ufa.

“All this gives us an understanding that the SCO and BRICS Summits will be carried out at a high level in Bashkortostan Republic”, the head of the republic underlined.
