Bashkortostan representative became a member of the Youth Council in the Volga Federal District

UFA, 11 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. The Chairman of the Youth Public Chamber at the State Assembly RB Tagir Gizatullin joined the Youth Council of the Volga Federal District.

On December 9, a meeting of the Council was held with participation of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich.

Participants discussed the main issues that concern today the younger generation. The Chairman of the Youth Public Chamber of the State Assembly RB Tagir Gizatullin noted that during 2013 - 2014 the young parliamentarians have made a number of proposals to the legislative and executive authorities of the regions. Many of them were supported and acquired the status of law.

In his speech, the representative of Bashkortostan also focused on the problems existing in the region, and offered their solutions. For example, he proposed to entitle the Youth Parliament with the right of legislative initiative, to organize on the basis of the Small Academy of Public Administration training of members of the Youth Council, to involve student construction teams in construction of major projects, particularly in construction of infrastructure for the World Cup 2018. These initiatives have found understanding and support of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District.
