Youth Public Chamber of Bashkortostan offers to open an integrated crowdsourcing web portal of student media

UFA, 8 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. The Youth Public Chamber of Bashkortostan offers to open an integrated crowdsourcing web portal of student media. This was announced at the next meeting of the Chamber.

“The integrated crowdsourcing web portal of republican student media is an electronic platform for interaction between young journalists, representatives of regional, Russian media, federal projects, the business community, people in the region”, the member of the Youth Chamber RB Elena Aryamnova said.

The project concept is reflected in the slogan: "One account to access all news of youth media in Bashkortostan".

According to the developers, the advanced technology of crowdsourcing and crowdfunding allow to discuss real-time topical issues of media sphere of the republic, to consider the student projects and attract a wider audience to their financing, to hold video conferencing, online-workshops and master classes.

It is planned that a pilot version of the portal will work in 2015. The initiative group of students from Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Ufa State University of Economics and Service, School of Young Journalists of the republic are engaged in the project development.
