Ufa native Daniil Kvyat is the best rookie of the racing season 2014

UFA, 7 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Doha, Qatar, the traditional gala evening of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), during which champions and winners of the championships were awarded, was held under the auspices of the organization.

This year a new prize in the category "Rookie of the Year" was approved. The best rookie was chosen among all the series that are held under the auspices of the FIA - from Formula 1 to the European Championship in rally-cross and the World Carting Cup. Voting in this category took place among former and current pilots of different championships.

The winner was the Russian driver - native of Ufa Daniil Kvyat, who in the season of 2014 made his debut in Formula 1 as part of the Toro Rosso team.
