Most accessible social facilities for citizens with limited mobility will be defined in Bashkiria

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Bashkortostan summarizes "Accessible Environment" contest, which will determine the most accessible social facilities for citizens with limited mobility in the region. On December 12, the department will award the winners.

The contest was announced in October this year. During the month the department received 87 applications from 16 cities and 17 districts of Bashkortostan. The best available objects are chosen from office buildings, healthcare institutions, culture, education, sports, trade, banking facilities, consumer services and catering, objects social protection and employment.

Representatives of the Ministry of Labour RB, republican organization of All-Russian Society for the Blind, known Paralympic champions – the Deputy of the State Duma Rima Batalova and the deputy of the State Assembly RB Irek Zaripov take part in the first stage of the competition committee work.
