First snowfall lasted 30 hours in Ufa

UFA, 5 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency/. Snowstorms came to Bashkortostan with the onset of calendar winter. Ufa townspeople saw the first heavy snowfall accompanied with strong wind yesterday, on December 4. It has been snowing continuously for 30 hours.

On the night from December 4 to 5, housing and communal services of the capital of the republic cleaned the streets from snow. According to the city administration, 305 units of special equipment were involved in cleaning.

By the morning it was managed to free the main urban roads from snow drifts. Now snowfall resumed in Ufa, special equipment goes on working.

The city administration reports the increased control of areas adjacent to shopping malls, shops, offices, which are under the responsibility of owners and tenants.
