Ufa schoolchildren will participate in the International Children's Summer Games in Australia
UFA, 4 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The 48th International Children's Games will be held in the Australian city of Lake Macquarie from December 6 to 11. The Games are held with the support of the International Olympic Committee.
The Games participants are athletes not younger 12 and not older than 15 years. This year three sports capitals - Ufa, Yekaterinburg and Tula will represent the Russian Federation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB, the capital of Bashkortostan will be represented by 14 athletes who will compete for medals in football, gymnastics and athletics.
Total this year there are eight games sports in the program: football, athletics, gymnastics, swimming, water polo, sailing, golf, BMX (bicycle motorcross).
