143,000 trees will be harvested in Bashkortostan for the New Year's celebrations

UFA, 4 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. 143,000 conifers will be harvested for New Year's celebrations in the republic. It is planned to cut the most number of trees in Beloretsk and Zilair regions - 18 thousand and 15 thousand.

“To date, 38 thousand coniferous trees are harvested in the region, of which about 12 thousand have been already sold. There was harvested the greatest number of pine trees - about 26 thousand. Nine thousand silver firs, more than three thousand firs were prepared. In addition, employees of the State Unitary Enterprise "Beloretsk Forest" harvested and sold more than 2.6 thousand evergreens,” Deputy Head of property management, technical development and labour protection department of the Ministry of Forestry RB Albert Bukharov said.

Harvesting New Year's trees will continue until December 20.
