UFA, 3 December 2014. /Bashinform News Agency/. New Year holidays on January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8, and Christmas on January 7 are public holidays in Russia. As January 3 and 4 fall on Saturday and Sunday, they are transferred. The day off January 3 is transferred to Friday, January 9 and January 4 - for Monday, May 4. It is reported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the republic.
Thus, at a five-day working week residents of the republic will have a rest from January 1 to 11. 2015.
On Wednesday, December 31, working hours are reduced by one hour.
When granting annual paid leave public holidays from 1 to 8 January are not included in the number of calendar days of the leave.
