BSAU basketball players reached the final stage of the national selection for the EuroCup-2015

UFA, 27 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Evgeniya Syutkina/. The men's team of the Bashkir State Agrarian University (BSAU) will compete in the final stage of the Russian national selection for the EuroCup-2015 of International Student Basketball League (ISBL).

Total the top 16 Russian student teams reached this selection according to the elimination system. In the previous stage Ufa team safely knocked out the Magnitogorsk team by having got more points by the results of two matches. And they started to compete with the team of Lomonosov’s Moscow State University ("MSU-Dynamo"). In the first away match with "MSU-Dynamo" Ufa players conceded six points (66:72). This gives hope that at home match they will be able to win with better difference and get into the top four of the strongest Russian teams which in the finals will meet with representatives of the foreign student basketball. This season 13 countries will participate in ISBL: Germany, Georgia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Estonia and Japan.

BSAU basketball players will hold a crucial match versus "MSU-Dynamo" at 16.00 in the BSAU gym on Friday, November 28.
