First Ufa Hackathon collected 75 programmers at a daily brainstorm

UFA, 25 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. Last weekend for the first time in Ufa a Hackathon was held - daily marathon programming. It gathered 75 experts in development of digital products. 33 most persistent programmers, designers, analysts managed to work for 24 hours without a break.

21 ideas were proposed for implementation. Seven of them were developed by seven teams.

The Run Away project won in the category "Mobile Applications" - an application designed to drill activities on people evacuation from the premises in case of emergency. The second place went to the authors of the OnDemand project - service seeking help from friends. The third place was awarded to the developers of the "Medical Quiz: Che Medic?" project. The last application is already available on Google Play.

Authors of "Open Data Visualization" won in the category "Best app for the "Open Republic".

The youngest team won the prize in the category "Mobile Applications" for the "Alarm for the Minibus". In the same category was marked My FitnessClub - recommendation system for training and sports programs.

In Ufa Hackathon was organized by the Centre of Information Technologies "Open Region", an independent developers’ foundation UFADevCom and co-working center "Smart Park" with support of the State Committee RB for Informatization.
