UFA, 24 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Elena Savelyeva, the representative of Bashkortostan in the Russian national team became the winner of bronze medal at World Boxing Championship, which takes place in South Korea Jeju, RIA Novosti reported.

Savelyeva, in the Bantamweight class (54 kg) lost to Bulgarian Stanimira Petrova in the semifinals - 1:2.

Another Russian woman Zinaida Dobrynina (57 kg) in the semifinals defeated Italian Alessia Mesíano and will compete for gold. Anastasia Belyakova (64 kg) also reached the final by winning her bout with the representative of South Korea Shim Hee-Jung.
