Ufa native Irina Galihanova won the Grand Prix of "Miss Bashkortostan" Beauty Contest

UFA, 17 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The jury awarded the Grand Prix of the "Miss Bashkortostan" Beauty Contest to Ufa student, 21-year-old Irina Galikhanova. The winner received the crown with Swarovski crystals and 50 thousand rubles for participation in the global beauty contest «Miss Globe International», which will take place in 2015.

The final of the Bashkir beauties contest was held at Ufa Congress Hall yesterday. It was attended by 22 participants. Traditionally, the girls showed their beauty and talents in different categories - presentations, creative contests, swimsuits and evening gowns defiles. In addition, each girl held a tasting of Bashkir cuisine dishes cooked by her.

According to the results of voting the title of the first Vice-Miss was won by 19-year-old Aigul Safina from Sibay, the second Vice-Miss title went to 24-year-old Angelina Gareeva from Ufa district.

The organizers of the competition were the Youth Public Chamber at the Ufa City Council, the public organization "Russian Union of Volunteers in RB" and model agency "Miss Bashkortostan". The competition was held in the framework of Culture Year announced in Russia and Bashkortostan.
