Ufa will host daily programming marathon - Hackathon

UFA, 13 November 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. A programming marathon - Hackathon - will be held in Ufa on November 21-22. It will gather professional programmers, designers, development team leaders, as well as IT-industry experts, the press service of the State Committee of the Republic for Informatization reports.

Hackathon is a marathon, during which different specialists in software development jointly solve some tasks. Hackathon is held worldwide. In Russia, it was first held in Moscow. Many other Russian cities followed the example of the capital.

Three nominations are established in Ufa: best mobile application or service; best desktop application and the best application for the "Open Republic".

Marathon will be held in the creative campus "Transistor" at: Ufa, 1, Radiovyshka Street. Hackathon starts at 19.00 on November 21 and will end at 18.30 on November 22.

Residents of Bashkortostan having knowledge and skills in the field of programming, development and promotion of applications are invited for participation. A pre-registration procedure should be done to take part in the Hackathon.
