UFA, 23 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. Navigation in Bashkiria will be closed on November 1, the Bashkir River Shipping Company informs.

This year, 84.3 thousand passengers were transported over navigable rivers of Bashkiria. 1.13 million tons of freight, including export ones were delivered by inland waterways of Russia to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Rostov, Astrakhan and Perm.

This year, the river navigation opened in Ufa on April 26. During the preparation period 82 units of vessels were repaired. Until the end of 2015 it is planned to build 12 berths in the capital of Bashkortostan on the rivers Ufa and White, where it will be possible to carry out collecting and droping-off the passengers from river ferries and ships of Bashkir river shipping company.
