Scientists were awarded grants of the President RF

UFA, 20 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Dmitry Sharonov held a grants awarding ceremony to Bashkir scientists. Eight young scientists and three scientific schools became the holders of Presidential grants RF. The grant amount for doctors of sciences is 1 million rubles, for candidates of sciences - 600 thousand, for scientific schools - 400 thousand rubles.

“Now a system of science grant funding is being introduced. The budget of the Russian Science Foundation for 2014 - 2016 years is 50 billion rubles, the Advanced Research Foundation - 10 billion rubles”, the federal inspector in Bashkortostan Nicholay Razbezhkin reminded.

“Currently there are about 900 doctors, four thousand candidates of science in the republic. 20,000 students are engaged in scientific work, more than a thousand young scientists under 35 years actively implement their developments”, the Minister of Education RB Alfis Gayazov said.

The Presidential grant for research projects was received by: the representative of the Institute of Mathematics Ufa Science Centre RAS Denis Borisov, BSMU representative - Naufal Zagidullin, BSU representative - Vadim Zakharov, USATU representative - Eugene Parfenov, Alexandra Mikhailova, Kamil Ramazanov, Nicholay Senyushkin, and the representative of Biochemistry and Genetics Institute, Ufa RAS Bayazit Yunusbaev.

Republican scientific schools in the field of biology and chemistry also became grant holders: Institute of Petrochemistry and Catalysis Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Organic Chemistry Ufa Science Centre RAS, Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics Ufa Science Centre RAS.
