Blind girl from Ufa sang with Oleg Gazmanov at festival in Moscow

UFA, 17 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Young Ufa native, 11-year-old Camila Rakhimova took part in the V International charitable festival "White Cane". The event was held at the Moscow Gubernsky Theatre - the first Russian theatre adapted for visually impaired people.
The blind singer received an invitation to the festival from the founder of a creative project for the blind and visually impaired children Diana Gurtskaya during her visit to Bashkortostan this spring. The talented girl studying in a boarding school for the blind No.28 is a permanent participant of creative contests: republican, Russian, international. She is the winner of the competition "Constellation of Talents". In addition to singing, the seventh-grader also goes in for sports.
This year, Alsou, Natasha Koroleva, Mark Tishman, Zara, the "A-Studio" group took part in the festival. Together with stars pupils of specialized boarding schools from different parts of Russia and more than 10 countries of the CIS took part in the gala concert. At the festival Camila Rakhimova performed her favourite song "Draw your Dream" together with its author - singer and composer Oleg Gazmanov.
"I am sure, that an example of Camila will give forces to many children and their parents, who are in a similar difficult situation", the head of the Public Foundation "Youth of the Nation" Rima Batalova said, with the support of which the young singer was able to go to the Russian capital.
The International Festival "White Cane" is held under the patronage of the fund to assist the blind and visually impaired children of the Russian singer and public figure Diana Gurtskaya and with participation of the Fund to Support Children in difficult situations. The main aim of the festival is a creative rehabilitation of visually impaired children, searching for gifted teenagers among pupils of boarding schools for the blind and visually impaired children.
