Problems of the city cycling development will be discussed in Ufa

On October 16, in Ufa a curator of cycling culture development in Russia «Let's Bike It!» Vladimir Kumov will tell townspeople about success stories of cycling infrastructure creation. The traveller cycled over many countries of the world. In his lecture he will present examples of successful solutions and projects that led to significant changes in the urban environment. On October 17, he will share his experience of his own cycling tour organization.

“In late March, Vladimir returned from a 16-month bike tour from Mexico to Argentina, and in 2010 rode his bicycle from St. Petersburg to Lisbon. He traveled to 44 countries, in 27 of them he travelled by bicycle, spoke with officials, urbanists and cycling lovers. In his lectures, Vladimir will share his advice on organization of travels, and will also raise a problem of cycling infrastructure development in Russian cities”, the organizers explain.

The lecture will be held in the creative campus "Transistor" (1, Radiovyshka Street) at 20.00 on October 16, admission is free. On October 17, the second meeting will be held at 19.30 at the GoodZone timeclub (39, Kommunisticheskaya Street), the participation fee is 200 rubles.
