Participants of the SCO Youth Innovation Forum arrive in Ufa

UFA, 7 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The first participants of the Youth Innovation Forum of the countries – SCO members arrive in Ufa.

The capital of the republic will host innovators from China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and mega-cities of the Russian Federation. The forum will be attended by about 100 participants, according to Elena Aryamnova, the leading expert of the Department of Press and Mass Communications of the ANO "Office Group SCO BRICS "Ufa-2015".

The opening of the forum will be held on Wednesday, October 8. The same day a round table conference on "Prospects for cooperation development in the field of science and innovations of the countries – SCO members" will be carried out. The priorities are defined: nanosystems, agriculture, energy, environmental management, information technology and breakthrough technologies in the field of medicine. The work will be continued at universities-partners of the event, which will host educational sessions.

Among the organizers of the Youth Innovation Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is the All-Russian public organization "Russian Union of Youth", the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Government of Bashkortostan Republic. ANO "Office Group SCO BRICS "Ufa-2015" acts as co-organizer of the forum. The Ministry of Youth and Sports RB is the operator of preparation and conducting of the Forum.
