Conscripts from Bashkiria will be honour guards at Kremlin

UFA, 2 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Juliya Antipina/. At a press conference in Ufa representatives of the Military Commissariat of Bashkortostan Republic told reporters about the tasks for autumn conscription. According to the assignment of staff of the Central Military District 6670 people should be called up for military service from Bashkortostan.

The biggest group will be drafted to the military units of the Central Military District, where more than 2,000 people will serve. The greatest number of recruits will serve in the ground forces.

The seven conscripts will serve in Moscow in the honour guard of the Moscow Kremlin.

“Bashkiria has not received such order for about 30 years. The competition is very high, but we will select the best candidates”, the chief enlistment officer RB Anatoly Baltinsky said.
