BST TV channel is technically reequipped for transition to a new level of quality

UFA, 2 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The main channel of the republic - Bashkir Satellite TV started the beginning of a new television season with technological transformation.

Nationwide transition to HD-quality also affected the BST. From the beginning of the year, there is a gradual preparation for improving technical equipment of the channel. According to experts, upgrading is necessary. The broadcast equipment had already been converted to HD. Switching and distribution hardware is successfully operating. The switching centre allows to quickly and efficiently sending signals to all required satellite networks.

Since October 1, TV-production complex is dismantled, all broadcast is carried out from Scania mobile television station. Filming of new programs, concerts, plays and sports events are made in 16x9 format taking into account further transition to the new format. Archival programs are also transferred to electronic media. It is still too early to speak about the transition to HD, but soon the viewers will be able to estimate the improved picture quality.
