Bashkiria finally move to winter time on October 26

UFA, 2 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. New method of time zoning will start to operate in Russia since October 26. At 2:00 p.m. local time, the clocks will be set back one hour across the whole territory of Russia, with the exception of the Udmurt Republic, Samara and Kemerovo Region, Kamchatka Territory and the Chukotka Autonomous District. In the Trans-Baikal Region and Magadan Region clocks will be set back two hours, Rosstandart reports.
This will be the last time conversion in our country – with no changes anymore according to the Federal law of 21 July 2014 No.248-FZ "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Time Zoning". This law introduces a new procedure for time zones defining.
The number of time zones in Russia will increase from 9 to 11 more corresponding to time zones of Universal Time Coordinate (UTC).
Samara region and Udmurtia will be related to the third time zone (Moscow time + 1 hour, UTC plus 4 hours). Kamchatka Territory and Chukotka Autonomous District will be included in the eleventh zone (Moscow time + 9, UTC + 12).
Bashkortostan refers to the fourth time zone (Moscow time +2, UTC + 5), along with the Perm Region, Kurgan, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk Regions, Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Districts.
