Technical Commission of the International World Games Association arrived in Ufa

Yesterday the Technical Commission of the International World Games Association arrived in Ufa, which included IWGA Vice President Max Bishop, Sports Director Joachim Gossow, Honourary Vice-President Co Koren. At the airport guests were welcomed by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Bashkortostan Andrey Ivanyuta, the Chairman of the Sports Committee of Ufa Administration Sergey Stepanov, head of the NGO "Bid Committee of the XI World Games 2021" Dmitry Gladkih.

“Our goal is to see Ufa, its sports facilities and infrastructure. I've never been in Ufa before, but I've heard a lot of good things about it from my colleagues. Tomorrow, October 1, we will hold a meeting with the working groups on sections, and then we will have a tour over sports facilities and check them for compliance with the international requirements for sports included in the program of the XI World Games 2021”, IWGA Vice President Max Bishop shared his plans.

The Commission will stay in Ufa until October 3. The program of the visit includes such venues examination as "Ufa-Arena", the Sports Palace, "Biathlon" Sports Complex, "Akbuzat" racetrack, "Dynamo" stadium, "Pervushino" airport. The guests will tell about the results of the visit at the session in the Government RB on October 2.
